So, you’re whizzing along the freeway in your perky little Prius, natch, and you’re in the mood for a tasty liquid pick-me-up. But you don’t want the whopping 200+ calories in a Starbuck’s pre-bottled iced coffee, and you wouldn’t be caught dying of thirst holding one of those freeze dried packets no matter how hard the Via Ready Brew tries to convince you “instant coffee” is cool.
No, you’d rather have your convenient bottle of iced coffee be organic, hover around 120 calories, oh yeah – and be created by a celebrity chef, no less.
Well, sweetie, this is your lucky day.
Restaurateur to the stars, Wolfgang Puck, has expanded into yet another arena of star-worthy spin offs, which he calls ‘culinary iced coffee.’ Working closely with Spago’s pastry chef, Sherry Yard, the famous foodie has created tempting flavors such as Café au Lait, Crème Caramel, Double Blend Mocha and Vanilla Fusion. The team underwent several incarnations of each one before settling on the final recipes, and let me tell you – they are delicious!
Wolfgang Puck’s Culinary Iced Coffee are on shelves in So-Cal and Las Vegas at Gelson’s, Albertsons’s, Henry’s Farmer’s Markets and Jon’s Marketplace. They’re available nationwide in all natural grocers such as Whole Foods so everyone can enjoy an eco-friendly sweet treat to keep ya looking hot while staying cool.
