A Bad Moon Rising may have worked for Creedence Clearwater Revival, but a Red Sun setting over the Sunset Strip kicks off summer celebrations. This Sunday marks the return of Katana’s Annual Red Sun BBQ Garden for the 6th year in a row!

Every Sunday from 5:30-11:30 pm, Memorial Day through Labor Day, wet your whistle with Soju or Sangria for under $6. Kick it up to a full crescendo with a snappy signature cocktail such as the Katana Fusion (Skyy Vodka with fresh Pineapple, Cantaloupe, and Watermelon) or the Passion & Spice (Skyy Passion Fruit Vodka, Orange Curacao, Lemon, crushed Jalapeños and Orange Slices)—they’re worth singing about for just $5.75 each. For an outdoor bite, we love the Robatayaki skewers. Selections like Kobe Beef and Shiitake Mushrooms, Wagyu Steak with Alaskan King Crab Legs hit the spot at $5 each. Sushi lovers can join the chorus too—the full Katana menu (yes, that includes the yummy Hanabi and Chilled Spinach Noodles with Shrimp) is also available.

Katana’s regular Happy Hour menu runs Monday-Friday 5:30-7:30, or Saturday and Sunday 6-7pm, featuring tasty appetizers, sushi, Robatayaki skewers, sake, beer, wine and of course, specialty cocktails all for $5! Feel free to sing it for sushi or riff it for Robatayaki—a Katana Roll beats a drum roll any day.
