I’ve been wanting to raise money for Haiti so when LA caterers Gisele of Small Pleasures Catering and Chrystal of The Duo Dishes reached out, I came on board, bearing cocktails!
Stir It 28 is organized by food bloggers around the country and will take place simultaneously in 4 cities on Sunday Feb 21. All proceeds go to Share Our Strength and Yele. Tix are only $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Food professionals and enthusiasts are participating and sharing their best bites with party guests. The LA party is hosted by Greg of Sippity Sup – and it already has blogs, facebook and twitter a-buzz! Cocktails
The Liquid Muse is partnering with Grey Goose vodka and Fre Alcohol-Removed Wines for the cocktail program for the LA version of this event. In addition to my signature cocktail “Hearts for Haiti” (featuring Grey Goose L’orange, my homemade syrup made with Martini & Rossi Vermouth, fresh grapefruit juice and Martini & Rossi prosecco, garnished with a heart shaped lollipop), the vodka bar will also feature 3 specialty cocktails by Christophe Namer who is Grey Goose’s Los Angeles Brand Attache.
Additionally, The Liquid Muse’s Sangria Station will feature alcoholic and nonalcoholic versions using Sutter Home Chardonnay and Fre Alcohol-Removed Chardonnay. The Sparkling Pomegranate Snowflake (excerpted from Preggatinis ™: Mixology for the Mom-To-Be and featuring Fre Brut) will also be available for those wanting a fancier nonalcoholic cocktail.
Food
The food being prepared for this event makes my mouth water just thinking about it! In addition to a cheese tasting table by The Cheese Impresario and delectables from professional caterers, food bloggers will be showing off their cooking talents. Here’s a list of the LA foodies involved:
