BÉNÉDICTINE's 500th Anniversary Cocktail Competition is partnering with Esquire magazine, BÉNÉDICTINE is launching a cocktail competition to search for the Alchemists of our Age.

We are reaching out to the top mixologists around the country, asking contending Alchemists to create a signature BÉNÉDICTINE cocktail worthy of the brand’s rich past and celebrated present. The mixologist who creates the most exciting and unique cocktail to celebrate BÉNÉDICTINE's 500th anniversary will be chosen by renowned author and mixologist Dave Wondrich, and regional favorites will be featured in an Esquire recipe booklet with the top industry pioneer appearing in a stand-alone Esquire profile in March 2010.

DEADLINE: September 11, 2009 and mixologists can submit their cocktails along with a description of what inspired them to alchemists@nikecomm.com
